There is none. Use what you like.

5 most popular ones are Ableton Live, Logic, Cubase, FL Studio and Reason.

Pro-Tools

Industry standard is not the same as Consumer standard. :P So yeah, either Pro-Tools or the companies own software. In hollywood a company who highers a musician will likely have their own software. Its the same for graphic art. If your not workingg in the industry however [your an artist :P] then Cubase is spiffy, If you are new then try FlSutdio its the best you can get for such a cheap price.

As far as I know the cracked version of Ableton is the industry standard for tech-house! :clown:

Than none of the EDM producers I know is a real musician.

ProTools is mostly used by high-end studio's, that mostly don't do EDM. And ProTools is also used by mastering engineers. However, ProTools isn't really handy for the EDM producer.

The 5 'industry standards' are already named above: Cubase, Logic, Ableton, Reason and FL Loops.

Pro tools is out of the loop to be honest.

It may still be the industry standard for RECORDING and handling audio.
