ADAM SHERIDAN

Few DJ’s can claim to be truely Global. From The UK to the Balearics, San Fransisco to the Far East, and from South America to Asia, 2008 has seen Adam Sheridan take his genre busting, electronic sound to all corners of the Earth. At only 25, he is one of the most in demand Electronic Dance Music Artists. Its been a exciting journey for Adam, who finishes his summer season this year as one of the Top 100 DJ's of the world, voted for in the annual DJ Mag poll by his numerous worldwide fans.

Adams own record label, Sound Stage Music has been a constant outlet for his creativity, with its releases making their way into the boxes of Carl Cox and Tiesto whilst also attracting respect from breakthrough talent such as Laidback Luke, proving that his music is renowed for it's popularity with many DJ's playing a variety of music genres. Recently, Adam has been busy remixing one of Paul Van Dyk’s most sought after records, which has now been released on his label; Vandit, whilst continuining to record his own monthly show on Paul Van Dyk’s radio station Vonyc.

2008 saw Adam also venture into new territories by contributing to the production of the nationwide club night The Electrik Playground, giving him the platform to perform on a monthly basis at his hometown of Leeds and other cities in the UK. Adam also rocked the gigantic Privilege in Ibiza, home to The Electrik Playground every Monday this Summer, alongside Tiesto in the main room as part of his 'In Search of Sunrise' tour.

Dance music’s leading brand, Cream at Amnesia has seen Adam play to sellout crowds and an electric atmosphere every time. Adams cutting edge sound of dirty, driving tech beats with spine tingling melodies has brought a new dimension to many of these events, and his summer residency with Cream always achieves a phenomenal response. These driving tech beats were also witnessed at the scenes biggest festivals such as The Summer Dance Festival Columbia, Gatecrasher Summer Sound System, Gatecrasher in India, Creamfields and the magical Sunrise Festival and memorably at the Miami Winter music conference.

So what next? Well 2009 will see the development of the Electrik Playground and will give Adam an opportunity to nurture other talent through an artist agency, and also a new record label. His innovational work in the studio will produce some colossal tracks that will be making their ways into clubs worldwide. Adam will be travelling across the world to leave crowds shouting for more and is very excited about the range of venues, promotions and festivals he will be involved with!

This DJ shows no signs of slowing up and strives to continue his emergence onto the world stage where he can share music with clubbers regardless of where they are....”dance music is such a huge part of my life. I love the fact that it forms a global community and im very glad to be a part of that community. See you in 2009!”

In the loft? What about the back room? Oh excuse me, I meant to say the "Dance Hall?"

LOL. It's just a one-time thing for Joseph Mordeno's bday. We like to switch it up every now and again. Cache will be joining us along with Josh Hartley. It's going to be a good time :toocool:

What is the name of the song in that short vid? I've heard the beat at 0:46 many times before, but I never found out the name.

Nm... I was thinking of another song. That is deadmau5, obv.

Due to terrible traffic on the 101, I got in line JUSTTTTT after 11pm, but was allowed to get in for free and get a free drink ticket. My friends who arrived a couple minutes after me were allowed in for free, but no drink (they were quite happy with the free admission though).

My friends and I thought that the music was ridiculously loud in the main room tonight. It was painful at times.

And hip hop in the side room? Send it back upstairs where it belongs. :P

But overall, another fun night at Circus. Looking forward to George Acosta on the 21st.

Dunno if it'll be both of the brothers coming or one of them. They've been very, very hot the past year. You also might know them as the main peeps behind the group Fragma (famous track Toca's Mircle / Toca Me) or In Petto.
