Hi All,
I hope some of you enjoy my new Muzikal Journey, which begins with two of my own tracks. I guess the mix could be classed as Prog / Tribal, but to be honest I am not a huge fan of trying to class music into definate genres. What is Prog to me might be Trance to someone else e.t.c...
Also the two tracks of my own are available to download free in Soundcloud via the same link, one being a cheeky version of my 'Talkin' track from Sasha's Global Underground 13 and the other my latest track 'Calculate'.

Biography
Jimpy's music is featured on Paul van Dyk, Sasha, Hernan Cattaneo and many more mix compilations…..
Jimpy began clubbing at the tender age of just 15 stumbling across the ‘Star Club’ now Eden on Ibiza. From that night he never looked back, attending clubs such as ‘Shellys’ in Stoke on Trent, (home of the legendary Sasha), DJ SS’s weekly event ‘Total Kaos’ at the Starlight 2001 in Leicester, The Eclipse in Coventry and raves such as Dreamscape, Vision and Amnesia House all across the UK.
On moving to Cardiff in 1993 he became the resident DJ of what was to become quite possibly the most famous and the most ‘rockin’ club in Wales – The Hippo Club! The Hippo is where Jimpy really learnt his trade, warming up and finishing nights alongside the very biggest names in the business. Sasha, Digweed, Oakenfold, Sven Vath, Sister Bliss, John Kelly, Laurent Garnier were amongst the many stars.
Jimpy went on to guest DJ at clubs around the World. In 1997 he entered the UK Ministry of Sound mixing championships and came 2nd and then in 2000 was voted 54th best DJ in the World by DJ Magazine.
For the last few years Jimpy has taken a step back from music, but in 2009 he found his headphones and keys to the studio again.... |
