hello.... i'm back with another question.
i have hundreds of .tif pictures on my computer, each ranging from 5-7MB in size - these are pictures that have been scanned from the actual picture to this format. not sure why so big... my question is - is there a program that will convert all these at ONCE, with the click of a button, to smaller sized .jpg files?
there must be programs, but I don't know much about this subject. any info helps... thanks!

Once the software is installed and open, go to File->Batch Conversion/Rename (or just hit B on your keyboard).
Change the "look in" folder to your source directory, then at the bottom click "add all" - and you'll see your TIF files show up in the blank.
Output format: make sure it's the right format, and click options to set quality and other settings for the output images.
Set the output directory below the output format.
Click Start Batch when finished and the software will work it's magic.
