I'm doing an independent study on music production/sound design. Can you producers recommend any specific topics that may have given you a boost in your skillz.
I'm looking for techniques, tutorials, books, VSTs that will help me learn a lot about sound production. |

Master Tutorial List
Various videos on youtube, countless threads on the Production Studio forums that will help you out, i advise looking through the archives and reading through things that interest you. Sure helped me figure stuff out. Apart from that just get onto a DAW and have fun. |

| It's just button pushing. Pretty simple, really. The technology pretty much just does everything for you. ;) |

No. Apparently there is a rather rigorous application process and I have yet to even inquire about it with NASA. To be honest, I'm fairly sure I wouldn't qualify. I'm a smoker with no plans to quit.
That's the beauty of producing electronic music, though. One does not need any qualification, what-so-ever. All they need is a cigarette, a button, and a finger. ;) |
