could you "football" fans explain this whole £100m transfer thing to me. how much does ac milan get to let manchester city talk with kaka? is that additioal to the £100m transfer fee. also why the hell is he worth so much to them? he's not the best footballer in the world or anything from what i can see.

they get the £100 million
and he pretty much is the best player in the world, his influence on games is incredible

he is one of the best footballers in the world.

100 mil in the transfer fee, should man city agree to a contract with them.

so if Kaka goes to man. city - ac milan stands to make 100 mil (though i hear they increased it to 107 lately).

kaka will also negotiate a contract (5 years are the rumors) and weekly wages (upwards of 500,000k rumored).

talking to AC Milan about Kaka and a transfer is free, this isn't american baseball.
