Or the 'underground' step-brother of Tiestin van Schulzenyond, it would seem. Although, really, seeing Luciano/Hawtin/Villalobos at the top of RA's DJ Poll (as decided by you, the readers!) is about as predictable as seeing Armin/Tiesto/Dyk at the top of DJ Mag's poll (and, er, this website's poll too...).
What's interesting, though, is seeing Sasha & Digweed making up the rest of the Top 5. Who said prog was dead? |

good question. i prefer the to read the informed views of ra's own tastemakers. but i suppose thats what all the other ra annual polls and indeed reviews are for. |

As far as I know, they wanted to provide more interactivity with their readerbase. Also, probably as an experiment to see how an RA sponsored DJ poll would stack up against other, more well-known DJ polls.
And let's face it: a poll with Luciardo Villalawtin at the top would garner a LOT of positive 'net reactions for them.
