So I can beatmatch pretty darn good (I do it entirely with the pitch control). I can almost phrase match all the time (like 8 out of 10 times, it's hard to remember how each track ends and starts though).
I am currently working on my first demo and have been working on it every day for the last week. My question is, when should I start looking to play out? Should I get my demo done and just start promoting and work at getting a gig? Or should I wait and continue to play at home for awhile longer?
Any DJ's here that have played some parties/clubs have any advice? Was it better to wait and practice more or just go out and start getting experience in front of people? |

| play at someparties that you know of. just like high school ones or with your friends, it gets you used to spinningunder pressure. just little ones and workup |
