I was listening to "The Herbaliser - Failure's No Option", and the accent of the rapper made me curious...

... can you tell where he is from? The album is called "Take London", and I'd guess he's obviously from London, but the way he says words like "microphone" and "slowly" sound really weird to me - it sounds like the French "eu", which isn't a sound common in English at all. Is that some sort of local accent? Is he just trying to sound cool? Or am I mistaken? |
