On November 21st the Tickled Pink & LadiDa crews return with some Clarity, a new comer DJ to freshen things up & Joakim from Paris!!
An avid fan of dance music first, and a DJ second, Dave Juric has burst onto the Melbourne scene over the last 12 months. Rising from a scene that produced legendary DJ's and producers such as Phil K, Nubreed and Infusion, who were his early influences, Dave quickly grew fond of the dark and deep sounds that Melbourne is renowned for. With the guidance and support of Darkbeat's very own Rollin Connection, Dave has quickly established himself as one of Melbourne's most promising and celebrated up-and-comers.
Over the last 12 months Dave has been involved in running some of Melbourne's more successful developing nights such as Symphonic Tonic, Discourse, Planet 3030 and The Clarity, who recently celebrated their 1st birthday.
Dubbed the Godfather of French Electro by I-D magazine, Joakim is heading to Australia for the first time to take over the Main Room at LaDiDa. Considered to be royalty of the French electronic music scene, Joakim’s diverse and trendsetting musical tastes have earned him a global reputation.
Still pushing the new guys on the scene, we have invited west :one along to do our “fresh set”.
Dave & west:one join Tickled Pink ladies, Danni B, Nadine, Sass & Nugget in The Basement, while upstairs you can catch JOAKIM (Paris), T-Rek, Chestwig, Fromage Crew, Jean and Jack & Smash Bang (Live).
