There are definitely a lot of copies out there - my local game store (RSE Video Game Star - locally owned and operated, one of the coolest shops I've ever been in) never shipped their copies back.
No idea if it will land them in hot water or not - but they still had them as of today, albeit for $100 (unless you paid in full for preorder). :wtf: |

People, the game was not cancelled, it was delayed TWO weeks. 14 days for $250? I don't think so. |

Yeah - I say more power to them, though. The recall was ing ridiculous - absolutely no reason for it, and Sony should be ashamed of themselves for doing it. |

I hear it was because of ONE Muslim individual (who got the game before the street date, which already introduces a big shady factor) that this entire recall occurred.
On the one hand, it IS ridiculous, but on the other, Sony has been at the palm of bad press for I don't even know how long. I'm sure this was an attempt to try and avoid further negative reputation points, especially fresh after the Church of England got all bitchy about some random church in a level of Resistance. Sony can't seem to avoid people bitching. It's like "hey, Sony keeps losing lawsuits and giving people millions of dollars, let's join the party and start one ourselves!"

That's a good point, but not everybody has access to the internet, so not everybody uses the PSN. |
