Looking for the names of a couple games I used to play back in the day.
I think these were SNES or SEGA games.
1st game:
Jet-based game, rear view of the jet and you flew around shooting things. Some jets came with an afterburner which you could kick on and get a massive boost in speed. If I remember correctly there was also a fuel gauge and if you used up all the fuel it said FUEL OUT and you failed the mission. One of the missions was shooting down a number of ICBMs by flying up behind them and shooting out their engines.
I don't THINK the game was called "Afterburner," I checked a few videos of it online and pretty sure that's not it so it might be under some other name.
2nd game:
You flew around in a spaceship. View was from behind and all the levels were like long tunnels. I believe you were free to move left and right as far as you wanted but the top and bottom contained graphics. The bottom track was an exact mirror of the top. In the game, flew at you or grew out of the top/bottom and you had to shoot it. I remember one of the levels was called "Neo" something Neo City or Neo Tokyo, something like that and it was a really dark level. Another level was called "Organic Cell" or something similar and the panels looked like pulsing orange circles. In the Organic level one of the enemies was this eye-sphere which you couldn't destroy until it opened its eye. If you shot it while it was closed it would make this weird noise and shake a little bit. Cool music in this game.

first one sounds like afterburner and the second sounds like stun runner, but there have been 8000 million games just like those ones|
(oh and there is a sequel to afterburner, if not many) |

if i remember correctly, the one im thinking of had smoother graphics than the Afterburner games, but looked VERY similar
2nd isnt stun runner
here's a crude representation of what i can remember the "neo(whatever)" level looking like:
the ship would be in the center

i think i remember the ship sounding like a high-pitched vacuum cleaner |
