| Ok, I installed my GeForce4 Ti4200 yesterday and I was able to run CS in OpenGL...today when I went to play it messes up on OpenGL. Everytime I go to connect to a server it brings up the old Half-Life loading screen (you know, the words "Loading..." in yellow) and then the screen flickers a few times and the game shuts off and goes back to my desktop. How can I correct this? The game runs fine in Direct3D mode but the framerate is greatly reduced. |

Check ur Drivers and does the card run ok with other games? or is it just ed up with cs.
Nice choice in graphics card. how much did that set u back.

hmm...i thought gf4 has d3d hardware acceleration!??!
...can't wait for mine...should be here tomorrow!!! same one, gainward for AU$360 (US$180) :D:D:D ...pity my duron 800 is gonna slow the out of it :(:(:(
yeah, get the latest drivers from nvidia...don't get the crappy ones from the board manufacturers :p:p:p
