So according to BBC this Chinese melamine milk scandal has widened to liquid milk as well.
Story found here: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/7624498.stm
I'm currently living in Shanghai and don't read or write much Chinese and haven't been able to find a Chinese interpretation of the dairies that have been using melamine in their liquid milk. Some companies don't have their name in English so I can't tell which is which! I just go by 90% (fat free) 50% (two-percent) and 100% (whole milk).
Here are the names:
Mengniu Dairy Group
Yili Industrial Group
Bright Dairy
If anyone could translate those it would be hugely appreciated. Thanks a million! :) |

| It's still very early, lots are panicking like you. Even Taiwan customs are having a hard time since the customs documents in English and the currect list is in Chinese. Hang in there for now, they will surface soon. |

Thanks for the info! I just figured out the milk and yogurt I buy are from Bright Dairy. Which totally sucks because it's the only dairy that makes 2% and skim milk! Everything else is whole milk :wtf:
Soymilk it is! |
