Orbital - Belfast (Sasha Vs The Light Remix)

ing hell. I heard this for the first time today, and it's absolutely fantastic. Sasha remixing Orbital sounds like the kind of meeting that surely can't live up to its potential, but in this case it did.
I wish The Light were still producing as well. Never heard a bad record with their name on it. |

| The remix of "Belfast" really has a special flavour. |

| Ironically, his own Belfunk was also based on Belfast(barely recognizable though). |

| I've always thought that voice in Belfunk was from Belfast, makes sense. It's good but i prefer the original, not a big fan of those really weak breakbeat kicks with excess high percussion. |

The original is a total classic in its own right. I'm not saying Sasha and The Light's remix is better, but it's different. And very nice.
I haven't heard of the Midnight remix, but I'm guessing it's ancient history. Midnight was a pretty track anyway. |

Great remix even if not on par with the original. Still a great alternative for it. Only thing annoying me is the lack of bass, at least on the copies of the mix i have, both 12" and on the Big Brother CD.
Also agreed about the Light, liking most of their work, with and without Sasha.
