This is going to be insane. OFP is one of my favourite games ever. The level design, the attention to detail, the sheer scope of the maps, the uniqueness in the way it plays. Stunning.
From what I read, OFP2 is gonna blow it out the water!
Oh and yay, they are building for the PC first as it should be done to maximise awesomeness :D |

looks interesting. im slowly amassing a new rig, but it may not even handle this.
reminds me slightly of IGI, a game that never really took off but was built using a flight sim engine to really encapsulate real world size and scope| |

| Na, they said that Core 2 Duos and current GPUs will be able to run it fine, just that they are coding it so that no matter how good your GPU and processor is, the engine will take full advantage. Pretty win/win for all of us :D |

oh yah, my main goal is to build something that is reasonably future proof (for at least 8 mos, lol)
its not entirely possible, but by the time the game comes out i should be okay| |
