What is the earliest memory you have of listening to music / What song sticks out in your mind as being the first song you ever heard that you can remember?

I have to say mine is Stir it Up by Bob Marley. I remember my dad playing it a lot when I was in kindergarden/1st grade. I think that's the earliest I can remember listening to music. That and maybe Bird Parker and Dizzy Gillespie.

how bout everyone else

My earliest music was the Blues. My dad is a huge fan, so it was on all the time since I was in diapers.. John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters, Mississippi John Hurt. All the good stuff. I also used to sneak into my older brothers collection and listen to his Kiss and Led Zeppelin records.

i was a little tank when i was a baby so whenever i was coming towards them, all my cousins would sing "woooah here she comes.. watch out boy, she'll chew you up! wooooah here she comes, she's a man eater!" i was around 3-4.

Earliest mom & dad music i remember is Benny Goodman. Sing Sing Sing (With A Swing) still in my top ten favorites ever.

The stuff I remember my older sisters playing was the Beatles, and then Lynrd Skynrd. Oh, and Heart. Barracuda!!
