I actually own all of these except that I have the Sony 7506 instead of the 7509hd.
Assuming the 7509hd is the same as the 7506 with even better sound quality, I'd definitely go with that if I had the budget. My 7506 are the most comfortable cans I've owned with the only exception being a $300 pair of AKGs that I owned for about a week. The Sonys also look good, have pretty good isolation and seem to be more durable than most (mine are still new so I can't say for sure).
I'd also recommend the Sennheisers because they have great sound quality and isolation. They're not very comfortable if you ask me but I've heard other people say otherwise so I guess it just depends on your head. I've had mine for a couple of years now and they've already cracked and the pad covers are starting to tear. I was pretty disappointed by that and also the fact that they look kinda goofy sittin' up there on your head. Again, maybe it's just because I have a small head. If you have a fat head you might be ok.
The 900s look cool but I would not recommend them. The sound quality is not anything to be impressed by and neither is the isolation. They're also pretty cheap. They've started to break and I've only had them for about a year and a half.
I'd say if your biggest concerns are sound, isolation and a good price, the hd280 are nice. If price isn't a concern, I'd try the 7509hd. Sennheiser still might have them beat in sound quality but I don't know since I haven't tried the 7509hd.
Good luck!
