Owned the HDJ-1000 and HD-280 for years...
Pioneers are great, used them for years and still going strong!!! HD280 broke after 1 yr so I use them for my MP3 player now....
I just bought the Technics HD-1200 last month, like Mario said, they are bass oriented.....
Tried the HD-25 once, the mids and highs were super clean but wasn't so good on the bass.
Sony MDR-7506, are the all around headphones. I still remember using them at Scott's back in the days
Everyone has a different preference on headphones, just tried them out and see which one u like ;) |

| Sound isn't so important for DJ headphones, isolation and durability is. I would pick the ones that do it best. I found my old 7506 didn't isolate very well in a club environment. Another option is using ear buds. Satoshi uses them and even though it doesn't look like a "real" DJ, I bet it has excellent isolation. |

I would also like to say I've been using the Sony MDRV700s for about 3 years now. Not one complaint. I loff them more than any speaker appliance I've ever used, including the Sony 750s |
They arent bad but they hurt my temples from wearing them to much and then the material for the band is a little cheap and makes your head itch but besides that they are great and sound are moderate priced too. |
