| Thats pretty bold of them, although the first Saints Row is still the best GTA clone I have ever played. Still, it can't hold a candle to GTAIV but it will be worth checking out at least |

I actually loved the first one. After SA especially, I mean why the would you want to spend ages in a gym buffing your guy up?
And taking over stuff was ace too. And robbing etc. |

I've played the demo to the original SA more times than I can count. I thought it was fantastically well done.
As for this trailer, I don't see this as a diss at all. In fact, I see it as quite the opposite; the trailer isn't afraid to admit that SA is practically a clone of GTA. Basically, the ad is trying to tell gamers, once you are done with GTA, come play this, it's the next big crime sandbox game. |
