| Nice, I always did like MGS, though i must admit i never finished it. When it came time to backtrack in order to warm or cool down the key, i just coudnt be bothered any more. Still great game though. |

| Watching this retrospective sent me off on a mission to buy a copy of MGS, and get a PSX emulator. Its been ages, and I remember playing this game nonstop the day I first got it, until it was cleared. Maybe it was my age at the time, but the game was fantastic, and really told a story in a very interactive fashion. Trully felt immersive. |

MGS original release copy is kinda hard to find, but you can get MGS through the recent Essentials Collection release that includes MGS, MGS 2, MGS 3, all for only $29.99 @ Gamestop. |

| What pisses me off about that collection though is that they leave out the special discs from MGS3 Subsistence. This weekend I beat the game solely to be able to play the older MGs, only to find that they were on a separate disc which i don't own. |

Good point. I gotta run out and get that. I was trying to locate an original release, and even on eBay I did not see that many. |
