all i can say about last night is damn!
mauro ripped it up, and i had a great time! :)
the whiskey is definitely a great venue, and i hope there will be more events to come :)
the lighting could have been used more better... they have these expensive lights that were only running like 3 patterns all night, and the laser left me feeling kinda let down... keith was hyping up the laser, but it just seemed like they just borrowed the laser from the palace...
i went nuts when he started to play energy 52 - cafe del mar... but then before it dropped into the actual song, he dropped the bassline for another track, and mixed out... :( and i didn't get to hear pulsar or komodo...
but other than that, mauro kicked ass, and i hope he comes back to cowtown. |

my god, I could barely stand on the dance floor it was so packed, and then the volume drove me away...and the fact that I cant dance to Techno...BUT either way, Mauro played a wicked wicked set. whatever the last track he played before the southpark song was soooo EVIL. CRAZY. Jake was standing over the tables dancing like a mad man pointing @ my friend and I who were going nuts (oh, and my friend was Mauro and Jakes chauffeur, Mauro even liked his demo CD)
great music, Although I couldnt dance to it. tho if Mauro came again, i dont know if Id pay $25 to see him.
What am I talking about, id just make sure I had the next day off so I could do a pill! |

Wow was that awesome, really high energy set as you would expect from him. My only complaints would be he didn't play any of his hits, and I would have died to hear some of them.
I spent most of my time up by the DJ booth and man does Mauro ever drink tons of booze! He had at least 10 shots that I saw and was always drinking.
I talked with his manager a little bit and he said they had a great time last night and they would love to come back.
I'm just still confused by his set last night, it really seemed a bit unusual is the word.
Still, great time, great venue, and WOW was it ever loud my ears are still ringing. |

| ya Mauro had a sweet set, to bad he mixed out cafe del mar... place was going crazy when it was on. Was way to loud tho, i couldn't hear this morning lol, also kinda let down that he didn't drop pulsar or any of his other hits, still was a great time tho. |
