it is bull man. i saw this one video on youtube about how people tried to get out of the cult/religion and wanted their money back from their 'counseling' (counseling in scientology increases your points to get to the top of the church or be considered more "significant" )
and she was murdered at this scientology hotel in florida. she was boiled alive in a bathtub. its jacked up.

I just barely found out about this, my girlfriend was explaining to me what Scientology was and whats its all about, plus how Tom Cruise and a bunch of Hollywood elites highly support and firmly believe in Scientology. I think that Scientology is the saddest attempt at creating a religion.

Piece of trivia: when Frank Herbert was writing Dune, he had a HUGE falling-out with L. Ron Hubbard, one of those 50 Cent vs. The Game kind of fallings-out. Hubbard went on all kinds of interviews talking mad about Herbert and how he sucked ass as a writer and a human being, etc. Just a lot of really personal rants and what-have-you. Herbert, being more chivalrous, dedicated one of the characters in Dune to Hubbard: the Baron Vladimir Harkonnen, described in the book as a fat, diseased, megalomaniacal pederast. Dig the resemblance? Hubbard sure did, and never forgave Herbert, especially since Dune outsold Battlefield Earth by several million copies.
