i agree, the mayday set didnt quite have the flow but i enjoyed what he was doing to some of the tracks with ableton on the fly. when he brought it down for NYC i am sure that was for Ashley Tomberlins benefit. I can tell if she was there or not by listening to the recording but if so he should have just thrown her off the stage and played the NYC / follow me mashup.
