*wii rant*
just bought a wii yesterday and let me just say i love this ing thing!!!! big props for having the gamecube controllers work with it... big props for having a wireless internet connection... big props for having the gamecube games work with it... jesus what more can i say. the thing is so ing quiet when its on... so small... damn i love it...
wish the power cord was longer though... and wish it came with an hd cable. but whatever really... gonna buy the hd cable online for like what less than 10 bucks... come on now.
was gonna buy mario kart and really should of along with the purchase of the wii but i opted for the an extra controller + nun chuck for my gf. shes addicted to wii tennis right now. :D gonna buy mario kart soon though.
rented super smash and mario strikers from blockbuster, but mario strikers sucks... the gamecube version was way better. love super smash but really wanna play mario kart! lol
anyway some questions...
1. is the hd cable worth it?
2. the girl at best buy told me a lot of people return wiis because they break, but come on now, its nintendo... is this really an issue?
anyone just wanted to say... w00000t i love this machine!!! i think my xbox is gonna start to gather some dust now... lol! |

yes the component cable is worth it. Some games run in progressive mode, so it runs at a higher resolution if u have the cable. haven't heard of any issues with breakage on these...other than people hurling wiimotes into tv's, the wii itself, etc. |
