Twas a great nite for all who attended.The new lights brightened the back room up heaps.Good to see Melb clubbers are tough and didnt let a bit of rain stop them from goin out and havin a blast!
Big shame I had to leave early to meet mates at another venue.Was really gettin into Jed's set.A corker as per usual Jeddles.U always seem to play the latest quality trance.
Jordz old school prog set was just what the doctor ordered!Taran and Simon brought the mnml/tech arse shakin grooves.Got a chance to listen to a decent chunk of High Rise Roller this time,they were bangin out some kickin beats.
All in all,a wicked nite.Good to see lots of old schoolers that may not go out much anymore compared to their heyday!But they make an effort to get out for our humble little party.Its fair indicator that Substance is a quality nite with a variety of genres,good atmosphere,comfortable venue and good crowd.
Anyone who hasnt got down to check it out,come along to the next event on Sat 21st June.
Guest djs include Chubbs Deluxe,Ben Evans,Six Head Slug and Kaysh plus all the usual residents.As per usual entry is completely free,and at the usual venue Soft Belly Bar 367 Little Bourke St City.
