I ordered this, more due to Chronoscale (which was brilliant) than what I've heard of MDG more recently.
Upon first listen, it's not a bad album, but if you expect another Chronoscale-level album you will be disappointed.
The downtempo tracks are pretty good, so are the opening few tunes which are melodic breaks.
The more straightforward trance tracks are not too convincing though, and you will notice (like ahp also mentioned) that the previously released tracks have been edited down. Not a bad album at all though. |
