I never been to TIL and I really wanna know how was it! I know that Miguel Migs & Lisa Shaw are playing with Joe and Fab.
One of my girls are going casue she's a big fan of the Migs. I would've gone but I gotta pay back 11 grant for my OSAP ....UGH GRRR!!!
Somebody update me on this one! Write me a flashback or a review or something...
Funky house all the way! :)

Went last minute and had no idea who was going to be there and was totally unprepared for the performance. A live singer for a house set was something I had never experienced before at a club and it really made a big difference. It was funky as all hell and even though it wasn't my thing at first the funk and vocals just grew on me, and normally I'm not very big on vocals at all. Lisa did a great job warming up the crowd too, some interactivity that added even more to it.

The TIL atmosphere was just right for this party and there was plenty of room to move around. All in all, a definite learning experience and fun time.

I love Lisa Shaw. The night she sang at Boa was magical.

she seriously changed my perspective on vocals in house music last night.

Check out the album she did a few years ago - it's all chill, deep, beautiful vocals...I listen to it quite often.

wish i made it out, sounds like it was similar to his performance with lisa last year, but that wouldn't be a bad thing to experience again by any means.

I love her vocals. I've never been to Boa eiter, just heard a lot about it from friends. I guess, it was renamed Sonic later. I saw a few pictures though. :)

NICE! Good move! I can imagine. I like what you're saying. They were releasing Those Things. My first house experience was funk and I grooved like what! So, didju sing along with Lisa? ;)

Hey, if you guys like Lisa Shaw, I'd recommend you listen to Tracey K. She is awesome! :)
