| 9800GX2 yet? I'm still using the 7800GTX OC'ed and watercooled, but the stats are looking really good on the GX2. |

Most of the reviews are saying it's pretty crappy for the price, citing that there are no real architecture improvemnts and a narrower memory bus.
Gonna wait and see how this pans out. |

True that! 9800GTX's are going for mid $300's on Newegg. Maybe thats more bang for the buck? I haven't done too much research on the latest cards, but I know the numbers are way better than my 7800GTX :mad: |

EXACTLY. IMO, I haven't seen much that would warrant the price of the 9800GX2. Just out of curiosity, anyone read any comparisons between the 9800GX2 and the 8800GTX? |

Yea, HardOCP had a good one. The general feeling was that the small improvement was not worth the hefty price. |

I think I remember skimming over a little writeup that said the GX2 was about 30% faster, if that...which is kinda nice, but the price difference is not worth it.
