In order to get some work experience I have decided to come to Manchester. I will live here for some weeks.
I wanted to ask you about things which are worth a visit, regardless if it a club (with trance music), a cool pub, a museum, church, place, sight whatever...just want to see some of the region

i love manchester :D
places i recommend checking out
- Tangled (they rarely play trance now, but its an awesome club)
- Deansgate Locks (if your looking for a night out to a fashionably place)
- 2 Museums worth checking out are the university museum and the museum of science and industry, the latter currently has an awesome exhibiiton on with lots of skinless people:toothless. theres also a decent art gallery not far from picadilly.
- Manchester Academy (great venue for various styles of music)
- Manchester Appolo (one of the best venues ive been to, band wise anyway
- The M.E.N. Arena, the most popular music venue in the world in fact, look at whats on and see if you can get tickets. or just go there and see a hockey game.
Bars/Pubs i recommend
- Revolution on oxford road (the first revolution to open)
- Kro2 on oxford road near the BBC
- Kro3 on piccadilly square
- Loaf on deansgate locks
there all the commercial ones i like, but there are literally pubs and bars everywhere in manchester, you wont have a problem finding one you like
Other places
- The printworks (for a night out, cinema, more pubs etc)
- Old Trafford :p
- The palace theatre
Just do some searches on the internet, im sure you will be able to find loads of places that you would like to visit
