with all this gum flappen about the GREAT moments of the conference what about some of the not so great moments/sets?
-Sander K's manager getting jumped @ Space by the bouncers
-DJ Rap's set @ Nikki on Thursday...embarrassing
-Hawten's set @ Nocturnal...was not there but everyone said he was whacked and horrible
-SOS set @ the pawn shop...i am using the set to help cure my insomnia
The WMC is supposed to be the best of the best in dance music and the fans pay a lot of money and make a lot of effort to see these dj's and make these events and when DJ's and or clubs mess they are allowed to be called out. |

i liked hawtins set...he was different from eevry other dj on the bill that nite...and wehn he came on at 4 am u didnt have to look at watch or see him...the music CHANGED...but i could only take it for 2 hrs...crowd was a pisser...minimal parties bring out wierdos that shop at urban outfitters...i dont see how anyone can be taken seriously while wearing skinny jeans...
i could rant on this all nite...
but yeah music was gd...i did see richie play a track and then drop under the table and then jump right back up (ive heard the k rumors and im starting to believe it) btw hes super wierd/moody...i had a chance to meet him on audion boat party and he just didnt seem friendly
and sos set blew at pawn shop i thought the set up for 3 djs was so lame |

this was about the 5th or 6th track.....and it was for sure a wreck....went on for at least 5 seconds before he killed the incoming track |

| That sucks. His mixing is usually flawless, which honestly surprised me the first time I saw him. Usually producers suck as DJs and vice versa. |
