Definitely a party like no other during the conference, the nice thing about it this year was that it was a seamless entry onto the Terrace, we had tickets for "after 4am" and skipped the whole line outside simply bc we had tickets....
I loved how he played New Order- Blue Monday and Depeche Mode- I feel Loved (Danny Tenaglia mix) at the end, two classic songs, but his set between 8-10 was ridiculous! If you have his set from Ministry of Sound in March then you'll get a decent idea of his track selection, not sure what happened in the end, all I know is I saw a troop of security guards rush the dj booth to grab the poor sound man....at 11am it was all over, not even with a wave goodbye. |

Not a bad set from Sander. He started off really good, then LP came in and bad-tripped him a little, but he shook it off. I have been to every terrace appearance for him @WMC, and I must say that morning as a whole was about a 5/10. Sander was really busy this conference and he showed everyone a good time at all the parties he did, but he looked really really tired that morning on the terrace. |
as noted above, let's just say there was some drama b/w LP and Sander's tour manager that upset Sander. |

This WMC for me was all about Sander...I wanted to see some different DJ's but his sets @ Space and Shine will be the stuff that my friends and i will talk about for months.
Sander is just fun and funky in everything....from the tech house to the techno to the progressive house. |
