On a tangent though, I find it interesting that Goa/Psytrance has been so embraced by, and has come to represent, all these Eastern mythologies of meditation and reflection. To me, that whole style of music is one of the most cold and inorganic there is. I think of sterile sci-fi landscapes when listening to it, not of shamans and philosophy. |
