That's right...I've hit it big (yeah...right!! lol)!!! Have been asked to do a mix for tomorrow's (March 20th's) edition of Air Spundae.
It's at 1pm, so all you folks who listen to GDJB and ASOT...tune into friskyRadio right after!
Just finished up the mix earlier....have to tune in tomorrow to hear it!!

It's On!
Gave it a good listen last night and noticed my EQs are all over the place....I forgot my main headphones so had to use a pair from work...some things sound wonky in some parts on good speakers (though it still sounds fine in the headphones I used)...oh well.
BTW, it's mainly mixed in Ableton w/o a mixer...with the short notice ended up putting it together at work yesterday during my free time...could be a reason why the EQs are a bit bleh...Ableton's EQs have a totally different feel than a Pioneer or Xone mixer...of course. I haven't used EQ3 in Ableton in forever.

Do use EQ8 actually....just I tend to use it more for effects (as I let the mixer do the main EQing)...
But will surely give a look at using it in case I have to do it in ableton in the future...feel dirty having done it this way...but then again, lots of major DJs who have radio shows use it...and put together their two hour shows in like 20 minutes...I probably spent more time setting it up in ableton than it would have taken me to do it live...lol...never actually did it the way I did before...it's annoying and I know there's an easier way. I actually lined the tracks up and then went in and did the transitions in real time just having ableton record everything I do...know you can just purely edit the envelopes if you're good at it...I'm not, lol. So I did that part the hard way. |

Yeah, when I first checked the number about an hour ago, it was at like 1704....so going up...a little...better than going down, lol. Was just ad 1752 but down to 1746 now...
Won't be amazed if some people run from the last two tracks since they are faster tracks I played slower (well the next-to-last one is at least)..hehe.. |
