I'd like to know where there are collapsed buildings. The only serious damage other than the GA Dome, Omni Hotel, and CNN Center I've heard of was a staircase collapse in East Atlanta.

Cotton Mill lofts where some of my friends live. I think they said the C building had the "pancake" thing happen to it. The exterior walls are still standing but all the floors fell down on top of each other. I remember hearing that it may take a day or two to excavate and search for people but you'd think there would be some marginal attempt at a head count to see if the excavation needs to be decidedly urgent. |
