Just when it seems like the long, cold nights of winter will never
cease, the supersonic energy of RESONATE once again starts to brew and
bubble up from below the ice encrusted surface. RESONATE 3.0 is
Chicago's highly anticipated, third annual, multi-media, burning
extravaganza designed to celebrate our unique culture and community
through Art, Music, Performance, Mischief and Mayhem!
If you were lucky enough to attend Resonate 2.0 in March '007, get
ready for that experience plus A WHOLE LOT MORE -- More Rooms! More
Performances! More Art! More Music! More Interactive Installations and
MORE DANCING 'TIL DAWN!!! There's a huge, new area this year, packed
full of wow and wonder, that pushes the total party space to over
12,000 square feet!!!
RESONATE 3.0 is produced by Chicago's Burning Man Community for the
Burning Community at-large. It embodies the tenets of Radical
Inclusion, Radical Self-Expression, Radical Self-Reliance and LEAVE NO
TRACE!
What can I do to LEAVE NO TRACE at Resonate, you ask?
For starters…
1. BYO CUP – NO BOTTLES OR GLASS!
Complimentary refreshments will be available, but only if you bring
your own cup to fill. If you decide you want to bring something
special to imbibe (cans, plastic water bottles or flasks only), please
deposit all garbage in the provided receptacles, or come prepared to
take your trash out with you just like on the playa!
Now, back to the FUN STUFF - RESONATE 3.0!!!

The new main stage area dubbed "The Dirt Room" has a tightly packed,
dirt and gravel floor, so please dress appropriately. Again, think of
it as the playa. Perhaps wear boots - possibly bring goggles (for fun
or function) - maybe have a dust mask or bandanna with you, especially
if you have asthma (and if you do, make sure you bring your inhaler,
just in case).
Wear your playa best, put on your dancing shoes, set your mind on FUN
and get ready for the MOST ANTICIPATED PARTY of the season!!
Remember - RESONATE 3.0 is a LEAVE NO TRACE event.
Be aware and responsible...
Protect your community...
Ask first....
And leave no trace.

| I'm guessing from the condition my Red Sox hat is in, I rolled around in the dirt room at some point, really I don't remember much beyond informing someone spinning that Matthias Paul had arrived to spin choons and running into Nico. Liked the layout of the party. Good times :D |

my roommate is a member of the burningman chicago steering committee that threw this party with ill measures. hundreds of hours of planning and hard work went into putting it together. it was an amazing thing to see.
over a thousand people were in attendance. great people, great vibes and great music ftw. i got to hear hiphop, triphop, dubstep, dnb, trance and minimal techno all in the same night. :clown:
