Having problems converting wav (constructed in Ableton) to mp3

| I tried using a couple of wav to mp3 converters, none of them are doing the job right. Lame converter usually always works, but when I convert a 569mb wav to a 192k mp3 it always converts to 1.47mb and has no audio whatsoever |

| sounds like you're using too high of a bitrate or sample rate, a lot of converters can't handle that high |

I had a similar problem a while ago (couldn't read wav coming out of Live)
It turned out that I was converting to the disk at a bitrate that was too high. It seems that Windows Media Plauer can't handle high bitrates (32-bit for sure, haven't tried out 24-bit).
I don't think that the sampling frequency is a problem. Try lowering the bitrate in Ableton when converting to the disk.
To do that just click the drop down menu "Bitrate" when the "Convert to disk" wondow pops up. Simple as that;.
Keep me updated if that's not it. Hate to spend time to put out silence :toothless . |

| Before you convert to mp3 make sure you resample your wave's sample rate to 44.1khz (if its a higher sample rate than 44.1) and it has been dithered to 16-bit. That could be the problem. |
