Sage's set was far superior to Gabriel & Dresden's! Never really been a fan of G&D and last night did nothing to the collective good to make me change my mind.
Ryan, keep rockin' it! I've never been let down by one of your sets. Although, those last two tracks were kind of iffy last night and I'm sure their sole purpose was to warm the crowd up for G&D. :p |

Last night was a disaster for me. Myself and a few friends had dinner reservations at 7:30 in Ontario, but being Valentines day they either screwed up on the reservations or didn't anticipate the restaurant was going to be so busy - so we ended up going elsewhere and didnt eat till around 9:30. There goes our $10 discount list.
We got to Tentation around 11 and were stuck in the general admission line till about 12:15. That place had to be packed way beyond capacity because it was a sardine can in there. That's the most packed I've ever seen it and I'm assuming its due to Valentines day. Getting a drink at the bar took a while fighting through all the people and when I finally got one, some washing machine idiot knocked my drink hand which caused half my drink to spill on my shoes. On top of that... what's up with that security guy at the front by the dj booth? Every time I tried to take a close picture by holding my arm out closer to the dj booth he would push my camera away. There was like this invisible wall I couldn't cross without pissing him off. Lol, even Josh Gabriel was looking at him like "wtf is your problem". He must seriously hate his job...
G&D's set wasn't too bad though, being it was the first time I've seen them. I missed Ryan's set so I can't compare it to that.
Lesson learned: If you're running late, screw dinner and get to Ten by 10. |
