nope - there is no border community show this year and holden isn't even going to be in miami - i haven't seen any gigs that have fairmont or nathan fake either :( |

Damn that is really weird. That party was kind of a staple of WMC for a lot of people the last few years. I haven’t seen him since I played with him at Bleu during DEMF two years ago since I missed his Chicago date. Sucks but hopefully he will come around soon.
You would think that at least a few of them would be playing. Perfect weekend for a BC showcase of some sort. |

I don't know - I actually think it's probably not the place for a Border Community night.
BC just doesn't have the WMC vibe (which I think is a good thing, not a bad one). |

Not necessarily (though I think a strong argument could be made for Holden not particularly caring for the sun :p), you just don't hear many of the BC crew canning any of the tunes that people inevitably describe as "tunes of WMC _____." |
