I found some interesting news. Apparently an Independent Developer Company are partnering up with Black Hole Recordings to make Video Game Soundtracks. This according to gamasutra.com right here.

Streamline, Black Hole Partner For Game Soundtrack Stable

Streamline, Black Hole Partner For Game Soundtrack Stable Independent developer Streamline Studios (Hoopworld) has announced a new partnership with music label Black Hole Recordings to create Streamline Sound, a new venture to provide other developers with a stable of artists like Grammy-nominated Tiësto for use in their own soundtracks.

The company says the new venture provides "high quality, legally transparent, and fairly priced original and licensed music and audio content" and gives Streamline the option to publish soundtracks both physical and downloadable, "creating additional revenue streams for game publishers and developers who commission work."

The company will be overseen by Black Hole's new media manager Iwan de Kuijper as its general manager, with audio direction by music industry vet and engineer Tom Pearce functioning as Audio Director for projects.

Said Streamline CEO Alexander L. Fernandez, “Streamline Sound provides one-stop shopping for game developers and publishers, with comprehensive music and audio services, music licensing, and an innovative music publishing model. Original game music soundtracks released on Streamline Records can put money back into the pocket of the publisher or developer who commissioned the work.”
