Xbox Live users, download Undertow for free Jan. 23rd - 27th

This is more of a heads-up, but since I'm sure everyone is well aware of Live's problems, I saw this tidbit of info in my Xbox 360 Forum newsletter:
"Whitten, sent a letter out to XBOX Live subscribers apologizing for the sub-par performance of Live during December. In the letter Whitten chalks up the shoddy performance to increased sign-ups to the XBOX Live service and a spike in usage during the holiday season. While this might not have been a big deal if Live was free, most users on Live are Gold Members, which requires a monthly fee.
To remedy the situation Microsoft is offering a free download for the game Undertow. The freebie will last from January 23rd through January 27th, and will return to it's regular cost of 800 points after the 27th. Undertow is actually getting critical acclaim from varying sites, and is sporting an impressive 8.5 on Gamestats.com."
I'm assuming this deal is for all Live users, but I don't have any other details. |

| It might be free just for Gold members, but I'm not sure, and that wasnt the case with that free shooting game they released last May. Hopefully it isnt, I could use a free game. |

| Sounds about right, servers where ed up during the Holidays. It was frustrating just trying to get an even team going on GRAW2 - Everyone would just laggout. MS how about you just bride us with a XBLArcade game of our choice. :clown: |
