Sequencers for OSX (Leopard)?

I don't have a whole lot of money to spend, but I really want to make some music. I used to use FL Studio and Live-4, but I don't have that available now. Any decent free sequencers (with VSTi support) for OSX?

not free, but logic express is ridiculously cheap if you get it with a student discount ;)

if youre not a student, im sure you can find someone who is lol.

Some of the sellers on Ebay selling student versions of Cubase 4 aren't asking for student I.D. There were some insanely cheap versions on there a couple of months back. Not sure what they are going for now though...

logic express is $75AUD. it would be about $60US.

suprisingly, it is pretty much the equivalent (feature-wise) of cubase studio.

What are the Lite versions of Live like?? I have plenty of Lite versions of Reason and Live that have come with most if not all of my hardware. Never used 'em.

+1

Seriously, if you can find logic express at the academic price, I'd jump on it. Its practically the same as the full version and you won't miss the features that exist in the full version.

I think it's called "Reason Adapted"?? I don't think it comes with any sound banks or samples and you might even be limited to how many tracks you can use at the same time.
