Random is San Francisco native Ross DuBois, a principal dj and producer of goa/psy-trance coming from the USA. He has toured the US, Canada, and Mexico extensively playing at festivals, clubs, outdoors, indoors, night time and day. Additionally, he has over 15 singles on labels like VaporVent, Geomagnetic, Timecode, Acidance, Kagdila, Shiva Space Technology, and many more. His music kidnaps the listener’s mind and sends it spiraling beyond space and time. It's intelligent, crunchy, groovy and mind-expanding. That's a pretty specific sub-genre for an event that long. As much as I love EDM, I personally wouldn't enjoy an exclusively psytrance event. That's just me though.

BYOB - sounds more like a NASCAR event. Never seen that before. I understand that the venue probably doesn't have a liquor license, but I don't know what to do for ten hours without drinks. And I'm not doing the redneck thing and bringing a cooler.

...hire a janitor. I understand that it is nice for people to be polite and pick up after themselves, but don't phrase it in such a way that it comes across as you giving orders for people paying to come to your event.

Don't be so hard on the guy, Chris! This sounds like a great idea, although I'm wondering if the Psy scene in ATL is really that big?
Is the RSVP and BYOB there to get around the lack of liquor licenses and some sort of guestlist law? I'm not so sure about the club laws in this city, but I wonder what one has to do to get around requiring a "guestlist" for events...
And what is the venue for the event? Or is this a "OMG this isn't a Rave!" type event where we are all meeting at a secret location to get a secret phone number that we call secretly to get the secret passcode that we mention at the secret venue off of Secret Ave & 10th?
(Sorry, I just HAD to post that :D :D ) But really, great idea; I might have to make it out for this one! |
