OK
I don't think Chris meant to offend anyone or their genre of choice, but we were obviously curious about the event that was posted here, especially when it advertised things that are very different from the norm.
I'm telling you: Make absolutely sure that those 400 die-hard fans are going to show up for these guys, because it sounds like this event is going to cost a lot to run. Have you guys figured your break-even point? Is it realistic? I'm just saying that a majority of ATL clubbers aren't going to be arsed to take the effort to register and pay $15-20 to see a pair of DJs that they don't know (hell, people whine about spending $10 on good House jocks). Don't make the mistakes that I have made as a promoter, by bringing in a great Breaks DJ to an area that didn't have the support for it, and then trying to charge a $10 cover to people that didn't care about the guy in the first place. I barely broke even, and yes this happened in Hickory and not here, but I think you may be in for the same rude awakening.
We're not being mean, we're being realistic.
If you don't want the feedback then don't post the threads.
Chris: Anyday after 6ish is good for me. I'm definately down for some CD spinning (I'm much better with CDs than with wax!), and it would be great to get some practice before the radio show. |

| WOW thank god all of you uninformed people are uninformed of our movement here in Atlanta because you would totally disrupt the energy of what we are trying to accomplish....maybe we do find this spiritual...its a lot better than the mainstream garbage all the other trance producers / promotions companies are putting together....I'm glad we stay true to the trance dance experience...stay way if you have this sort of attitude...or come out and be enlightened...either way leave our movement be. |

| You know its a shame that "Tranceaddicts" don't appreciate or know what a psytrance event is..an all psytrance party sounds boring or wack? You all have obviously never been to a real party |

| Just because it's the name of the site doesn't mean we like trance. This is one of the greater EDM boards on the internet today, catering to all genres. Learn a bit before you bash. :p |
