DJ Lazy Rich maintains a signature crowd-friendly electro house sound that is altogether uplifting, filthy and funky. Don’t be fooled by his name; Rich is anything but lazy behind the decks!
A fresh face from his home territory of the United Kingdom, Rich has DJ’d alongside numerous world-renown DJs & Producers, among them: D.Ramirez, Trophy Twins, and The Beginerz. During his time in Bristol, England, Rich was a Resident DJ at Deepgroove’s award-winning night “Play”. Since moving to Vancouver a mere two years ago, Rich has played at some of the best venues in town including Lotus, Plaza, Sonar, and Club 686. He has spun at numerous large-scale raves including Freeze, Dooms Night and Apex Project. Rich was also a resident DJ at Lotus’ Wobblin Wednesdays and headlined at Signal Saturdays at Lotus for Intimate Productions.
Recently, Rich has proved that he is anything but Lazy inside the studio as well. Starting to produce his own tracks only a year ago, Rich has already had three remixes released under the record label Lowered Recordings. His debut original track “The Pull” is coming out on Sheeva Records in February and he has remixes forthcoming in 2008 with both Sweet Cherry and Live-To-Tape Records.
