FROM THE FUTURE SOUND OF BREAKS TOUR:

BREAKBEAT
The New Guard | Illeven:Eleven
Hailing from the "Windy City" Chicago, Keith MacKenzie has emerged as one of the leaders of the Breaks scene in the United States. Originally from Florida, Keith got an early start influenced by friends such as Icey and Fixx, dropping several releases on labels such as Zone and After Dark Records, which has led to the start of his own label- illeven:eleven recordings in 2004. illeven:eleven has since become among the finest labels within the U.S. In the studio Keith MacKenzie is making bombs behind the decks he is unloading his payload of funky beats for all to enjoy!

BREAKBEAT / TECHFUNK / HOUSE
Base10 Global | nuskoolbreaks.co.uk
An ardent musician from an early age: playing several instruments varying from mandolin to drums; participating in marching band to rock band - Tolgar's history clearly depicts an amalgamation of musical sensibilities and his desire to share with others the music that he loves: breaks. Writing and performing freestyle as a hip-hop MC in New York was his introduction to electronic music. By 2000, Tolgar was back in Chicago practicing on turntables of his own, spinning all forms of breaks: from funky to nu-skool, as well as spinning drum 'n' bass, tech-step and jump-up jungle. Over time, breaks became his main focus.

TECHNO
Impact Mechanics | Source Productions
Orlando Solis a.k.a Submerge101- his genre-busting turntable skills and production work have earned him a solid worldwide reputation as an innovative Techno Dj. He favors a unique blend of funky house and European hyper speed techno. Recently featured for weeks on White noise radio and charted by Dave Clarke, Ben Sims, as well as Split radios own Chris Finke he has been featured in the Miami Times newspaper as one of the next top 100 techno Dj's in the US. Orlando runs Impact Mechanics, a successful label featuring artists such as Boriqua Tribez, Bam Bam, Bryan Cox and many others. His Computer Madness remix has gained popularity worldwide. He collaborated with Portugals number one techno artist Apaul - together remixing Robert Armani's anthem Ambulance.

HARDCORE
Psychotik Records
One of the hardest in the hardcore techno/industrial field, Delta 9 is the alias of Chicago's Dave Rodgers, a man influenced by thrash and industrial as well as dance styles like electro and gabba. Debuting with a series of singles for Drop Bass and Industrial Strength during 1995-96, Rodgers appeared on the Industrial ing Strength compilation and gained a contract with the increasingly techno-leaning grindcore label Earache. His first album, Disco Inferno, was followed later in 1997 by Alpha Decay. One year later, he appeared on Vinyl Communications with VC Mix CD, Vol. 1. Revolution 909 was released in mid-2000.

DnB / Jungle / Fusion
CMB | Eclectic Grooves | DJS | Custom Vibes
Andy Cash has been dj'ing for almost a decade, spinning music ranging from dnb to trance over the past 9 years He is your Everynightjunglist and proud of it. He started out on electro, techno and breaks, but soon found his way into the jungle. His style ranges all across the board, but eventually he prays to the "amen break." Ragga jungle, darkstep, tekstep, dubstep, vocal/heady dnb, dnb remixes....he does it all on the old skool jungle tip. Currently he produces, as well as dj's in Chicago where he calls home. He spins vinyl and cd's, warps his own beats with efx equiptment and samplers, as well as doing live pa's on a laptop computer. Many say he has no shame and/or he should only play vinyl to pay respect to the art, but he really has no limits and should spin what ever he has available and makes the people dance to further art.

BREAKBEAT
Seismic Bass | Eclectic Grooves | Infared
Tha don started his dj career in 2000 playing trance with friends at house parties. After honing his skills on the decks he moved his attention to his real love, Breaks. He started playing breaks in 2006 and has been tearing up the midwest ever since. From Detroit to Milwaukee, Tha Don has been trying to spread the word, if it's broken, don't fix it. His energy and love for the music is tangible. Definitely an up and comer not to miss!
