| Perhaps the sort of 'button' you press down on the top mechanism is a pneumatic of sorts that presses a small bit of pressure downwards, aligned to push on one side of the liquid, thereby forcing a small bit of vapour up far enough to ignite and give you a reasonable flame rather than a spout of burning liquid. This is just vastly uneducated theory though. Ask Omega_M. He's going to be an engineer of sorts, no? |
