Just in geneva for a couple weeks, w/ a few friends and we're looking for a good new years party, but we're unfamiliar w/ the area. My friends were thinking of flying to london but i figure rent a car and hit up a party in france instead. Any suggestions on a good EDM event somewhere within an hour of geneva? Lyon maybe? any event over the next couple weeks would be really cool but i'm really just looking for something on New Years.

Hi mate!
I'm not living in this area but i don't think you'll find an EDM event for the NYE near Lyon...
You could be luckyer if you try Lausanne, i went to the MAD Club several times and i always enjoyed the place... They book a lot of Trance DJs...
May some local guys help you with this issue, expect some answer from rafon3 or ptit_tom...
