Alright folks, for those of you that know me know I've been looking for a job after I graduate. Well, I just signed with Deloitte Consulting in downtown Los Angeles, start date in July!
While I'm not sure what will happen to EDM Sound System, I will try my best to find another student to fill the spot and take over the show. However, Javier and I are planning on throwing some sort of party in the spring to celebrate so stay tuned!

p.s. let me know if you have any advice for me when looking for a place, or if you have any connections there! |

Definately congrats on the job... and LA does have a great EDM scene, but be forewarned, you're moving to one of the most miserable places to live in the USA... The place is a total dump and it's beyond overcrowded... If you're a patient man, you can probably learn to cope with it... but, it's a very difficult place to find Pe@ce in...
My advice is to stick to the smaller nights like Incognito and Droid and Kompression and Unwind. You'll find FAR FAR less pretentious s and more like minded people that really love EDM and enjoy each other's company. Networking is pretty easy if you're outgoing... My advice is to post in the west coast forums. There's some nice people in there and some not so nice, as with anywhere. But you'll meet people fast through the forums...

| I could have taken the same position here in Atlanta, but I decided I needed a change of pace, and LA fit the bill for everything(weather, music, CA grad schools) except cost of living of course. The offer was pretty good, but even with a $1200 rent budget I may be living in a box. |
