I found out about this event from Facebook:
http://www.clubzone.com/events/event80222.html
A few of my friends (who don't listen to anything we talk about here) are going. I don't know if I should be going or not. The list of DJs looks... questionable... and I've heard the club sucks.
I'm 17 so I haven't yet been able to check any of the clubs out... Anyone wanna share their experiences from club 686 or with any of those DJs? |

wow ..
$50 for DJ Cold Turkey. I didn't even have to check out the lineup but
needed a laugh anyway ..
I say you should go young man, go and experience the thrills of life!
Maybe you'll get some McLovin' .. or something ;) |

man, it sucked being underage ;)
If you have friends going, then I think it is worth it just for a good night out with friends (even if the DJ's aren't that good and the club isn't so hot). You will definitely experience more memorable sets once you are of age, but I think it'd be fun to head to a real club even if I've never seen or heard of those dj's before (and hope not to, with those names :p) |

Yeah all ages means there will be a bunch of LG's there :D and I can always bring a set of ear plugs for the bad sets.
We'll See... keep the comments coming, I want to hear more! |

hmm. my passion for trance didn't significantly gain momentum 'til i was of age. so, i luckily never experienced your problem. but i didn't hear trance "live"(/not @ home =P ) for the 1st time 'til october of '06, when i was 20. o__O so, my humble advice for you would be to not wait for the "perfect" event to start going, which is what i did. just go, (to whatever you are able to, taking age restraints into consideration, obviously.) hell, even if you go alone, just do it. =O if your passion for electronica is geniune enough, it shouldn't dissuade you, & you'll obviously meet new people there. =) so, get'er done, son!
regardless, endure makes a really strong point in the above quote, which i've conveniently butchered w/ the bold feature. xD |
